The Hives acusados de plágio? Tire suas conclusões [vídeos]

 Os suecos Hives podem estar em maus lençóis. O compositor norte-americano Jason Shapiro acusa a banda de plágio e vai processá-la por ter roubado linhas de guitarra e de voz à canção "Why You?" para aplicar em "Tick Tick Boom", single do mais recente "The Black and White Album".

Shapiro gravou "Why You?" por duas vezes: primeiro com os Roofies (em 1997) e depois com os Three Way (em 2002). O compositor mostra-se, apesar disto, fã da banda sueca: "Adoro os Hives e não me sinto muito feliz por processar uma banda que adoro. Mas também sinto que os créditos devem ser dados a quem de direito quando pegam um riff emprestado", disse Shapiro ao jornal LA Weekly. (Blitz TV)
