Charli XCX continued to release singles and mixtapes. Her first official album, True Romance, came out in 2013, and was well received by critics.

In June 2014, Charli XCX released the single "Boom Clap", a song that entered the soundtrack of the film "The Fault in Our Stars" and on the singer's third album, 'Sucker', released in December of the same year. In 2017, she released two mixtapes: Number 1 Angel and Pop 2.

Charli XCX released her third album, entitled Charli, in September 2019. This work has the collaborations of Sky Ferreira ("Cross You Out"), Haim ("Warm"), among others.

In May 2020, the singer released How I'm Feeling Now, an album produced over a six-week period during the COVID-19 pandemic. She returned in 2022 with Crash.
