Tindersticks

The band Tindersticks was formed in 1992 in the city of Nottingham, England. His music is characterized by the low voice of Stuart Staples and the orchestrations of multi-instrumentalist Dickon Hinchcliffe, who left the band in 2006.

Tindersticks songs are a mixture of melancholy, beauty and sound delicacy, present in several albums and soundtracks released since 1993, when the band released their first album, simply titled Tindersticks. Following were the albums Tindersticks [II] (1995), Curtains (1997), Simple Pleasure (1999), Can Our Love... (2001), Waiting for the Moon (2003), The Hungry Saw (2008), Falling Down a Mountain (2010) and The Something Rain (2012).

Celebrating his 21-year career in 2013, Tindersticks released Across six leap years, an album of versions of songs previously released by the band. The band returned in 2016 with The Waiting Room. Then came the albums No Treasure but Hope and Distractions.
