O site de música Gigwise resolveu eleger as bandas mais deprimentes de todos os tempos "numa das épocas mais deprimentes do ano". The xx, Joy Division, Radiohead (foto), The Smiths e The National são alguns dos 23 nomes selecionados pela equipe do site britânico.
"A promessa não tão distante assim do Natal revela que há um breve momento de descanso no horizonte, mas com a época de festivais a desvanecer-se na memória e o próximo verão ainda muito longe, aqui estamos nós - a sentir pena de nós mesmos": é assim que o Gigwise defende a vontade de fazer esta lista:
