Instalação artística toca “Africa” do grupo Toto “eternamente” no deserto do Namibe

“Africa”, música do grupo Toto, lançada originalmente em 1982, voltou a estar presente entre nós com a cover que a banda Weezer fez no ano passado do hit oitentista.

Aproveitando o momento, o artista namibiano-alemão Max Siedentopf fez uma instalação em dezembro do ano passado no deserto do Namibe (situado do sul de Angola até o norte da África do Sul), na qual um  MP3 player com seis alto-falantes e alimentado por energia solar toca “Africa” em um loop infinito com a promessa de que será "por toda a eternidade", segundo o site NPR.

A instalação artística de Max Siedentopf se chama Toto Forever.
