Jeff Tweedy

Born Jeffrey Scot Tweedy on August 25, 1967 in Belleville, Illinois, American singer, songwriter, musician and producer Jeff Tweedy became known as the leader of the alternative country band Wilco, acclaimed mainly by the albums Summerteeth (1999), Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (2002) and A Ghost Is Born (2004).

Before Wilco, Tweedy was a member of Uncle Tupelo, a group that remained active between 1987 and 1994.

In 2014, alongside his son Spencer, the musician created a project called Tweedy, which released an album entitled Sukierae. His first solo album, Together at Last, was released in 2017. The following year, he released his second, entitled Warm.

In April 2019, Jeff Tweedy released the exclusive Warmer album for Record Store Day on vinyl. Subsequently, this work was released on digital music platforms. Recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, Love Is the King was released in October 2020.
