Future Islands releases compilation to celebrate twenty years of career

Rarities, alternative versions and fan favorites make up From A Hole In The Floor To A Fountain Of Youth . The American band's 20-track double album Future Islands arrives to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

In anticipation, the group shared the tracks “Sail” and “Find Love”.

“ Sail ”: Originally from 2025, the song was released on a 7-inch compact exclusive to the tour's VIP packages.

“ Find Love ”: Track from 2011, originally released as the B-side of the 7-inch single “Before the Bridge”.

Bassist William Cashion explained the concept behind the album's name:

the hole in the floor is the everyday, but the fountain is the magic that happens when the life you dreamed about actually becomes the one you’re living. It’s the dream and the reality existing in the same room.
