About to release her third studio album, Ambiguous Desire, British singer Arlo Parks shared her newest single, titled "Beams," with the public. The track joins previously released singles "Get Go," "Heaven," and "2SIDED," which help give us an idea of the atmosphere of this new full-length work.
Regarding the sensitivity behind "Beams", Parks commented:
"It’s about the pain of feeling discarded, or feeling like the oldest hurt that you carry around like a stone is a burden not just to you but to everyone around you - the worst fear. It’s about numbness and fight, flight or freeze. But it’s also about trying to (slowly but surely) want better for yourself and realise that you are lovable as a whole."
The long-awaited album Ambiguous Desire it is scheduled for release on April 3rd.
