U2 wants to repeat the good results obtained with Zooropa (1993), released years after Achtung Baby (1991), and following the success of his songs through a more experimental touch.
Something similar they intend to do now with the continuation of Songs of Innocence (2014), a work in which they recovered part of the lost credit and in which they explored sounds present since their formation as a band. Now, with the next album, titled Songs Of Experience , U2 intends to show us its most risky side. According to comments from Bono himself, "It's not finished yet, but you'll like it. It points to the stronger lyrics of "War", it has more clarity".
As well as the announcement of the new album, the Irish confirm the second part of their tour, which is called "iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour", returning to the stage in 2017.
According to a statement from the group, more news will be released between September and October.
