The National recusados pelo Glastonbury Festival

Os norte-americanos do The National revelaram ontem à noite, durante um concerto em Camden, Londres, que foram recusados pela organização do festival de Glastonbury, que acontece neste fim de semana.
A banda de Matt Berninger começou por dedicar o tema "England" às pessoas que fossem hoje para o festival e, já no final da atuação, o vocalista disse: "queríamos tocar lá mas fomos recusados".
O gigantesco festival acontece neste fim de semana (28, 29 e 30 de junho) e tem como headliners o Arctic Monkeys (sexta), os Rolling Stones (sábado) e o Mumford & Sons (domingo). Pelos diversos palcos do evento, vão também passar nomes como Primal Scream, Vampire Weekend, Nick Cave, Portishead, The xx, Public Enemy e Bobby Womack.
