Coiffeur e Modular trazem folk e indiepop vintage a São Paulo

Recentemente incluídos na coletânea "Porque este océano es el tuyo, es el mío" (Si no puedo bailar, no es mi revolución, 2007), Coiffeur e Modular estarão no ciclo "Além Tango", promovido pelo SESC Vila Mariana entre os dias 11 e 14 de dezembro de 2007.

Guillermo Alonso, o Coiffeur, mostrará o folk-punk de "No es"(Estamos Felices, 2006), um dos melhores discos da nova geração da canción argentina, segundo a Rolling Stone local. Heranças de personagens como os irmãos Parra ou Caetano acomodam-se, num castelhano marcado, ao lado da escola folk contemporânea de Elliott Smith e José González. Em São Paulo, estará acompanhado de Juan Stewart e Mariano Esain.

Mariana Badaracco e Pablo Dahy formaram o Modular em meados de 2000, no boêmio bairro de San Telmo, em Buenos Aires. A dupla, que tem três álbuns lançados, "La fecundidad del cosmos" (2003), "Viaje por el planeta del pasto" (2004) e "El Triángulo de las Bermudas" (2005), retoma elementos da chanson-française, da bossa nova e da eletrônica vintage em temas para fãs de Stereolab, Club 8 e Mutantes.

Discos de novos artistas latino-americanos estarão à venda nos dias das apresentações.
