Recently, the band Elastica posted a cryptic message on Instagram, sparking speculation about a possible comeback. The news, however, is the deluxe reissue of Elastica, their successful debut album, released in March 1995 at the height of Britpop.
Scheduled for release on October 2, 2026, via Rough Trade Records, the new edition brings together the 15 tracks from the original album and ten additional recordings, including B-sides, demos, and sessions recorded for BBC Radio 1. The material will be available on double vinyl, CD, cassette, and in digital format.

The vinyl edition will include a poster featuring a reproduction of the album’s original promotional artwork, recreated from the band’s personal archives. The first copies purchased during the pre-sale will also come with a limited-edition flexi-disc of “Cleopatra,” a single originally released in 1995.
