Elizabeth Fraser

Perhaps because of her heavenly voice, Elizabeth Fraser was honored by the International Astronomical Union by naming an asteroid known as 2013 TF19 as "Fraser", as can be seen at this link on the NASA website.

The news was published by record label 4AD on social media:

Yesterday, after 10 years of research, the International Astronomical Union have named the asteroid 2013 TF19, "Fraser", after Elizabeth Fraser.

Elizabeth Davidson Fraser was born on August 29, 1963 in Grangemouth, Scotland. After Cocteau Twins disbanded in 1997, she collaborated with several artists. Of these collaborations, the most remembered is his participation on Massive Attack's Mezzanine (1998) album.

In 2022, Elizabeth Fraser returned to the music scene with Sun’s Signature, a project with her partner Damon Reece.
