The Guardian elege os 40 melhores discos de 2012

O jornal britânico The Guardian anunciou aquele que é considerado pela sua redação o melhor disco do ano: Frank Ocean leva novamente o prêmio para casa com "Channel Orange". Em entrevista, o músico norte-americano agradeceu mais este número 1 e explica, em brincando, "eu avisei que seria o melhor". 

"Só quero ser o melhor", diz também Ocean, "[se não quiser] de que vale, certo? Pode não haver um objetivo para nada - o que é muito niilista - mas se vai jogar este jogo o melhor é ganhar, certo? Claro que sim".  
 
O top três de melhores álbuns para o Guardian fica completo com "Visions" de Grimes e "Devotion" de Jessie Ware, respectivamente em segundo e terceiro lugares. Entre os dez melhores álbuns de 2012 estão também "Lonerism" do Tame Impala, "An Awesome Wave" do Alt-J e "Coexist" do xx
