Balaclava Fest 2026

Balaclava Fest 2026

The Balaclava Fest returns for its 16th edition on September 26 and 27, 2026, with the largest lineup in its history. Organized by the São Paulo-based label and production company Balaclava Records, the festival will take place at Tokio Marine Hall in São Paulo, expanding its main format to two days and doubling the usual number of performances, featuring 16 acts.

Among the main highlights are: Blonde Redhead, a leading act in alternative rock and dream pop; DIIV, one of the most important bands of the new generation of shoegaze; Dry Cleaning, with their post-punk sound marked by Florence Shaw’s recitative vocals; and Wednesday, an American band that blends indie rock, alternative country, and noisy guitars.

The international lineup is rounded out by the dream pop of Beach Fossils, the confessional indie rock of Pedro the Lion, the post-punk of Bar Italia, and the fusion of electronic music, R&B, and violin by Sudan Archives, as well as High Vis, Liv.e, Wishy, and Sharp Pins.

The Latin American independent scene is gaining momentum with Brazilian acts Ludovic, Adorável Clichê, and Budang, alongside the Argentine band Winona Riders.
