James Blake

Singer, songwriter, and producer James Blake emerged on the London dubstep scene in 2010, releasing the EPs The Bells Sketch, CMYK, and Klavierwerke.

His work explores elements of R&B, electronic music, and ambient, with emotive vocals and production that results in experimental and quirky pop.

In early 2011, he released his acclaimed debut album, simply titled James Blake. That same year saw the release of the EP Enough Thunder, which includes a cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You" and a collaboration with Bon Iver on the track "Fall Creek Boys Choir".

The English artist released his second album, Overgrown, in April 2013. Featuring contributions from Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and Frank Ocean, The Colour in Anything was released in May 2016.

Assume Form, James Blake's fourth album, came out in 2019. A new work, Friends That Break Your Heart, arrived in 2021. Playing Robots into Heaven, an album without collaborations from other artists, was released in 2023.

In 2026, he released Trying Times completely independently through his own label, Good Boy Records.
