The Pixies return to Brazil on April 9, 2027, for a one-night-only show at Espaço Unimed in São Paulo. The show is part of the South American tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of the influential American alternative rock band’s career.
Scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m., the performance is expected to cover different phases of the group’s discography, featuring classics such as “Gouge Away,” “Where Is My Mind?,” “Debaser,” “Here Comes Your Man,” “Monkey Gone to Heaven,” and “Wave of Mutilation,” as well as tracks from their most recent album, The Night the Zombies Came (2024).
The tour marks the band’s first visit to Pixies to South America as the headliner and takes place five years after the group’s last visit to Brazil, which occurred in 2022. The current lineup includes Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering, and bassist Emma Richardson (formerly of Band of Skulls), who joined the band in 2024.
Tickets cost between R$ 230 and R$ 820 and are available through Eventim. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
