Graham Coxon

English musician Graham Leslie Coxon, born on March 12, 1969, rose to prominence in the 1990s during the Britpop movement, notably as the guitarist for Blur. A fan of American alternative rock—influenced by bands such as Dinosaur Jr., Pavement, Pixies e Sonic YouthCoxon began releasing his solo work in 1998 with the album The Sky Is Too High. This was followed by The Golden D (2000) and Crow Sit on Blood Tree (2001).

In 2002, Coxon announced his departure from Blur, the same year he released The Kiss of Morning. Following that, the musician released three albums produced by Stephen Street: Happiness in Magazines (2004), Love Travels at Illegal Speeds (2006), and The Spinning Top (2009). Also in 2009, the musician returned to Blur.

Exploring a more experimental direction, A+E, Graham Coxon’s eighth album, was released in 2012. Featuring tracks originating from theA+E recording sessions, the album Castle Park was not released until 2026.
