Icelandic indie folk band Of Monsters and Men, formed in 2010, consists of Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir (vocals, guitar), Ragnar "Raggi" Þórhallsson (vocals, guitar), Brynjar Leifsson (guitar), Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson (drums), Árni Guðjónsson (piano, keyboards), Kristján Páll Kristjánsson (bass), and Ragnhildur Gunnarsdóttir (trumpet).

The group began to gain notoriety after winning a band competition in 2010 in Reykjavík, Iceland. Rolling Stone magazine hailed the group as "a new Arcade Fire".

In 2011, the band released the EP Into the Woods and the album My Head Is an Animal, which included the single "Little Talks," reaching the top of the charts in several countries. The international version of My Head Is an Animal, was released in 2012.

In 2013, Of Monsters and Men performed at the Lollapalooza Brasil festival in São Paulo. Beneath the Skin, their second album, arrived in 2015. The band released a new album, Fever Dream, in 2019. After a longer interval, All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade arrived in 2025.
