Between re-releases and a book, the documentary directed by Cameron Crowe about the twenty years of Pearl Jam it must be the record that most moves fans of the American band. Check out the trailer below, which features David Lynch interviewing Eddie Vedder.
Titled " Pearl Jam Twenty ", the film premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival, on September 10th. It will then be shown in selected cinemas in the USA. " Pearl Jam Twenty " is due to be released on DVD on October 25th this year.
In addition to the documentary and re-release of the albums' Vs. ' (1993) and ' Vitalogy ' (1994), the celebrations of the twenty years of Pearl Jam includes the launch of a book – also titled ' Pearl Jam Twenty ' - about the band's history, written by Jonathan Cohen and Mark Wilkerson, which will be released on September 13th.
The band's festival, which will take place on September 3rd and 4th in East Troy, Wisconsin, has the confirmed presence of Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney , himself Pearl Jam , among others.
