German filmmaker Werner Herzog will be in charge of directing the live webcast that the The Killers will present on September 18th.
The date is not random, as it is the day that The Killers will officially release their fourth album, "Battle Born", via Island Records. In this sense, the meeting will be part of a series of presentations organized by American Express Unstaged, and whose objective is to unite bands with notable directors.
In the past, they participated Arcade Fire with Terry Gilliam, Jack White with Gary Oldman and Duran Duran with David Lynch, among others.
The group's performance with Fitzcarraldo's director will be at the Paradise Theater, in the Bronx, at 7pm (New York time).
