One of the icons of shoegaze, the American band Medicine returns with a new album reuniting its classic lineup - vocalist Beth Thompson, guitarist/vocalist Brad Laner and drummer Jim Goodall.
The new album, titled To the Happy Few , will be released on August 6, 2013 on the Captured Tracks label, which last year re-released the band's first two albums - Shot Forth Self Living (1992) and The Buried Life (1993).
Medicine split up after their third album, Her Highness (1995). In 2003, the band's leader, Brad Laner, in partnership with Shannon Lee, daughter of actor Bruce Lee, released the album The Mechanical Forces of Love , under the name Medicine.
