Jesus And Mary Chain announced that he is working on his first studio album in 17 years. The Scottish group published their latest album, "Munki", in 1998.
According to the vocalist Jim Reid , this will be a "more mature" album.
The Jesus & Mary Chain broke up in 1999 and reunited in 2007. The Reid brothers' last album was " Live At Barrowlands ", an album recorded live in Glasgow in November 2014.
