Manic Street Preachers will release his fourteenth album in September

The first sample of The Ultra Vivid Lament is the single “Orwellian”
Manic Street Preachers shared a new song, “Orwellian”, which is one of the tracks from The Ultra Vivid Lament, the Welsh band's new album, which will arrive in September.

Manic Street Preachers' fourteenth album will be released on September 3 via Columbia Records. Julia Cumming of the band Sunflower Bean and Mark Lanegan collaborate on the vocals for the tracks “The Secret He Had Missed” and Blank Diary Entry ”, respectively.
In a recent interview with MOJO magazine, bassist Nicky Wire described the album as "The Clash playing Abba".
