Veja os doze indicados ao Mercury Prize 2009

Foram divulgados os doze finalistas para a edição do Mercury Prize 2009.
 

A premiação britânica, que tem quase uma década, já consagrou nomes como Primal Scream, Suede, Portishead, Pulp, PJ Harvey, Franz Ferdinand, Antony & The Johnsons, Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons e Elbow.
  
A premiação acontecerá no próximo dia 08 de Setembro, em Londres. O vencedor será escolhido por um júri ligado à indústria musical, e apenas álbuns lançados por artistas do Reino Unido concorrem.
  
Entre os escolhidos estão nomes conhecidos como Kasabian, Bat For Lashes e The Horrors, porém, são os novatos que devem roubar a cena, entre Glasvegas, Friendly Fires e Florence And The Machine (foto), nossa aposta fica com Florence And The Machine e seu álbum “Lungs”. Aguardem!
