O filme conta a história do proprietário do clube CBGB, Hilly Krystal, interpretado por Alan Rickman, e o surgimento da cena punk rock de Nova York. Depois de sua pré-estreia no CBGB Festival, o longa será lançado no dia 11 de outubro em várias cidades americanas.
O disco também traz The Dead Boys, The Police e Blondie, que gravaram uma nova versão de "Sunday Girl", clássico dos anos 70.
