American singer-songwriter Hayley Williams was born in Meridian, Mississippi, on December 27, 1988. In 2004, when she was 16, she formed Paramore with brothers Josh and Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis, a band associated mainly with the pop punk and emo-pop genres.
In 2019, Paramore announced a break and Hayley Williams started work on her first solo album. The result was the touted Petals for Armor, released in May 2020. Her second solo album, Flowers for Vases / Descansos, arrived in 2021, followed by Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party in 2025.
