Danish band influenced by hardcore and post-punk, Iceage was formed in 2008 in Copenhagen by young people with an average age of 17 years. In 2011, the band released their first album, New Brigade.

After signing with Matador Records, Iceage released in 2013 their second album, entitled You're Nothing. The following year, the group released Plowing Into the Field of Love.

The band returned with a new studio album in 2018, featuring the work titled Beyondless. Seek Shelter, a britpop-influenced album, arrived in 2021.
