Paul Weller

Biography

Englishman Paul Weller, born John William Weller on May 25, 1958, was the leader of the bands The Jam (1976–1982) and The Style Council (1983–1989). As one of the figures of the so-called mod revival of the late 70s, the singer came to be nicknamed Modfather.

With a self-titled album released in 1992, Paul Weller began his solo career, releasing a series of albums. His twelfth solo album, Saturns Pattern, came out in 2015. In 2017, he released A Kind Revolution, and the following year, True Meanings.

The singer returned in 2020 with On Sunset, his fifteenth album.
