Snail Mail is the solo indie rock project of American singer-songwriter and guitarist Lindsey Jordan. Born in 1999, Jordan started the project in 2015, gaining initial prominence with the release of the EPs Sticki (2015) and Habit (2016).
In 2017, the artist signed with the prestigious label Matador Records, through which she released her debut album, Lush, in 2018. The album was an immediate success, establishing her as one of the most promising voices in the contemporary indie scene.
Her second album, Valentine (2021), was produced by Brad Cook and features songs written between 2019 and 2020. Like its predecessor, the work was widely acclaimed. In 2026, Snail Mail consolidated her trajectory with the praised album Ricochet, reaffirming her lyrical and sonic maturity.
