Chad Smith , drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers , admitted that the band will reunite in September to start working on the successor to " I'm With You ", album released in 2011.
"We're thinking about getting together in September to start writing songs for the next record," Smith said in an interview with Billboard.
"Sometimes we run into things... We start playing something and always end up with some ideas. But we never have a complete song until we get together. That's when the creation process really begins. We're waiting for the second half", highlights the drummer.
The Californian band was on a world tour to promote "I'm With You" until recently, having given a special concert when the Dalai Lama went to Portland, Oregon, and also headlined the Coachella festival lineup.
