Peaches is the stage name of Canadian singer Merrill Beth Nisker, born on November 11, 1966. Her music is classified in styles such as electroclash, electropunk, and electronic rock, with lyrics that are sexually suggestive and provocative.

Living in Germany, Peaches released her first album, The Teaches of Peaches, in 2000 on the Berlin label Kitty-Yo. Previously, in 1995, she had released an album titled Fancypants Hoodlum, but under the name Merrill Nisker. The Teaches of Peaches featured the single "Fuck the Pain Away" and brought her fans not only from the electronic music scene but also from the rock scene. She has opened for artists such as Björk and Queens of the Stone Age.

The singer's second album, released in 2003 by XL Recordings, is titled Fatherfucker and features Iggy Pop on the song "Kick It". Also with XL Recordings, Peaches released the albums Impeach My Bush (2006) and I Feel Cream (2009). Rub, her sixth studio album, was released in September 2015, featuring collaborations with Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth), Feist, and Simonne Jones.

After a long hiatus without a new album, the artist released No Lube So Rude in 2026.
