Death From Above 1979 oficializa seu retorno

Os canadenses do Death From Above 1979 confirmaram em um comunicado oficial que iráo retornar. A banda já marcou duas datas em festivais (Coachella e Donaufestival).

"Passaram 5 anos desde que o Death From Above 1979 tocou pela última vez, 10 anos desde que o Jesse [F. Keeler] me mostrou as primeiras demos e 11 desde que nos sentamos no porão da casa dos pais dele e tocamos tão alto que arrancamos a porcelana das prateleiras no andar de cima", escreveu Sebastien Grainger, uma das metades do duo.

"O Jesse e eu decidimos que aquilo que podemos fazer juntos não deve ser ignorado. Juntos novamente, como sempre foi nossa intenção, como colaboradores. A colisão de dois mundos diferentes. Enquanto isto toma forma, vamos revelando o que se passa", explicou depois.

Lembre-se que os dois membros do Death From Above 1979 seguiram caminhos diferentes desde a separação em 2006: o baixista Jesse F. Keeler formou o MSTRKRFT e o cantor e baterista Sebastien Grainger apostou numa carreira solo. (Blitz)
