Desde que conquistou nossos corações nerds em meados dos anos 90, o Weezer tem nos surpreendido com mudanças esquisitas em sua carreira que podem alienar alguns fãs old-school, mas reforçam seu apelo para uma nova geração. Por exemplo, nomeando um álbum e estampando uma capa com um personagem de Lost. Colaborando com Kenny G e Adam Lambert, entre outras esquisitices.
