Julia Jacklin is an Australian singer born on August 30, 1990. Her music associated with indie folk and alternative country styles began to be known in 2016, when she released her debut album, Don't Let The Kids Win, which earned comparisons with the likes of Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten.

She has cited Björk , Fiona Apple and Leonard Cohen as influences on her work.

In 2019, Julia Jacklin released Crushing, her second album. She returned with Pre Pleasure in 2022.
