English singer Lily Allen was born in London on May 2, 1985. Daughter of television presenter and comedian Keith Allen (also co-writer of the song "World in Motion," the theme song for the English national football team at the 1990 World Cup), the singer released her first album in 2006, titled Alright, Still, supported by the hit "Smile."

Lily Allen's music is based on ska, electronic music, and 1960s pop. In 2009, she released It's Not Me, It's You. Her second album featured the singles "The Fear," "Not Fair," "Fuck You," "22," and "Who'd Have Known."

After a long hiatus, the singer released Sheezus in 2014. Its successor, No Shame, came out in 2018. West End Girl, with lyrics reflecting the conflicts and end of her marriage to actor David Harbour, Allen's fifth album was released in 2025.
