As we announced here, PJ Harvey will re-release his vinyl discography over the next few months. After announcing Dry for July 24, the singer announces the re-release date for Rid of Me. Harvey's second album, released in May 1993, will be released on a new vinyl edition on August 21.

Produced by Steve Albini, Rid of Me is characterized by a rawer sound, presenting songs with a more nervous touch, such as the track “50ft Queenie”.

4-Track Demos

In Still in 1993, in the month of October, PJ Harvey released 4-Track Demos, a demos album. Eight of them are from songs that entered Rid of Me. The other six are tracks not released by the singer until that moment.

All 4-Track Demos tracks were produced by the singer between 1991 and 1992.

On the same August 21st, 4-Track Demos will be re-released.
