PJ Harvey announces vinyl reissue of Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea

In the series of vinyl reissues for his albums, PJ Harvey confirms the reissue of Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea (2000) for February 26. This series started last year has already had the reissues ofDry (1992), Rid of Me (1993), To Bring You My Love (1995) and Dance Hall at Louse Point (1996). Is This Desire? (1998) will arrive later this month.

Like other vinyl releases, Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea will also feature a compilation of demo songs from the album. Pre-orders are now available.

Listen below to the demo of “This Mess We’re In”, a song that in its version of the album has the collaboration of Radiohead singer Thom Yorke.

Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea

The album was released in 2000 and is one of the most commercially successful singer's works. Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea also won the 2001 Mercury Prize.

PJ Harvey started writing some songs from the album in 1998, when she was in New York working as an actress in the film "The Book of Life" by American director Hal Hartley.
