Singer will release her first solo album in August
Alison Mosshart (The Kills, The Dead Weather) released through the Deezer platform a version of Bruce Springsteen's song “State Trooper”. This cover won a video produced by the artist herself. See below:
"State Trooper" was originally released by Bruce Springsteen on his sixth album, Nebraska, from 1982.
Alison Mosshart's first solo album
Alison Mosshart will release his first solo album, Sound Wheel, in spoken word on August 7 via Third Man Records. On the same day CAR MA, a printed collection of paintings, photographs, short stories and poetry by the singer will be released.
In a press release, the album received the following description:
Sound Wheel is an album about cars, rock n’ roll, and love. It’s an album about America, performance, and life on the road. It’s an album about fender bender portraiture, story tellin' tire tracks, and the never-ending search for the spirit under the hood.
