The National announced the successor to the critically acclaimed I Am Easy To Find (2019). First Two Pages of Frankenstein has as its first sample the track “Tropic Morning News”, a song co-written by Matt Berninger’s wife, Carin Besser, and which exudes an intimate atmosphere, as you can see below.

The National's ninth album will be released on April 28 via 4AD. Guests/collaborators include Sufjan Stevens, Phoebe Bridgers and Taylor Swift.
