O supergrupo The Good, the Bad & the Queen foi formado em 2006 por Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz), Paul Simonon (ex-The Clash), Simon Tong (ex-Verve) e o nigeriano Tony Allen (foi baterista da banda de Fela Kuti). A banda lançou em 2007 um álbum autointitulado produzido por Danger Mouse.
Em 2018, o grupo retornou com seu segundo album, 'Merrie Land', produzido por Tony Visconti.
