The young naturalized English Beabadoobee appeared in 2017 with the single "Coffee", her first composition, tied to the lo-fi style. The song caught the attention of the Dirty Hit Records label, which started to release the artist's works.

Beatrice Laus was born in the Philippines on June 3, 2000 and at the age of three moved to London with her parents. She studied violin and learned to play guitar by watching tutorials on YouTube. As a teenager, he became interested in indie rock, with the soundtrack of the movie "Juno" as a source of influences.

After "Coffee", Beabadoobee released Eps Lice (2018), Patched Up (2018), Loveworm (2019) and Space Cadet (2019). The sound of these early works is reminiscent of the pop/rock of the 1990s.

In December 2019, she was listed on the “Sound of 2020”, an annual survey that the BBC conducts among critics to indicate promising artists who will stand out in the coming year.

In October 2020, Beabadoobee released Fake It Flowers, her first album. Beatopia, the second, arrived in 2022.
