BIKE is a Brazilian psychedelic rock band formed in 2015 in the city of São José dos Campos, São Paulo, by Julito Cavalcante (voice, guitar) and Diego Xavier (voice, guitar). The group began to make waves in the independent scene when the song “Enigma do Dente Falso” was included in the compilation 30th Century Records Compilation Volume I (2015) on the label of Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, Danger Doom, Broken Bells), 30th Century Records. “Enigma do Dente Falso” is one of the tracks from 1943, the band’s debut album released in 2015.
The band established itself on the Brazilian independent scene as one of the most critically acclaimed names. He also performed in the United States and at European festivals — in 2017 at Primavera Sound (Spain), in 2018 at the Nox Orae Festival (Switzerland) and in 2019 at The Great Escape (England).
After 1943, BIKE released Em busca da viagem eterna (2017), Their Shamanic Majesties Third Request (2018), Quarto Templo (2019) and Arte Bruta (2023).
