The music of the American band Titus Andronicus transits between indie rock and punk rock, with declared influences from Big Country, Television Personalities, Bruce Springsteen, Galaxie 500, Neutral Milk Hotel, Weezer, among others.

Created in 2005 in Glen Rock, New Jersey, its lineup consists of Patrick Stickles (vocals/guitarist), Julian Veronesi (bass), Liam Betson (guitar) and Eric Harm (drums). The band's name was taken from a drama by William Shakespeare.

Titus Andronicus released in 2008 his first album, The Airing of Grievances, a work that was positively evaluated by Pitchfork. In 2010, The Monitor arrived. Their third album, Local Business, was released in October 2012 by XL Recordings.

When their fourth album, The Most Lamentable Tragedy, was released in 2015 on Merge Records, the group had a new lineup. In addition to Patrick Stickles, Julian Veronesi and Eric Harm, the band had guitarists Adam Reich and Jonah Maurer.

In 2018, the band released A Productive Cough. Produced by Bob Mould, An Obelisk, the band's sixth album, was released in June 2019. The group returned in 2022 with The Will to Live.
